[KEYWORDS DELETED BY MOLLY 24 FEB 08 IN ORDER TO REMOVE ADVERTISING LINKS] which may help if your dog is a bit creaky in the leg. It helps to plump up the cartilege in the joints.

Has anyone tried it for their dog? How do you rate it and what type do you use? Question

Molly

I give mine glucosamine and fish oil on a regular basis. Occasionally also a mix that includes chondroitin and MSM. And when Merry was on cage rest for a cruciate strain, he was on a high dose of glucosamine which I'm sure did no harm. I get it from a range of sources, all human grade.

Hi Quicksilver,

Nice to meet you and thanks for the reply. I also use a human type of G & C for Moll, who has had [LEG OP] and is on a permanently high dose. The human stuff is much cheaper than special [DOGGIE STUFF]. I'm just careful that we don't 'overdose' on any added [VITS] or minerals.

I also use [OIL OF COD LIVER] for Moll (although I've heard people recommending fish body oil instead!). I would like to try Devils Claw as a possible substitute for her prescribed painkiller (or at least to augment it and therefore reduce our dependence on it) - but I don't know what Devil's Claw dosage we should try. (I asked our vet and he'd never heard of it)!

Hope that Merry continues well. Very Happy

Molly

Everyday, Jace got a product called: The missing link Plus.
It's very good for the bones and for many different things.
It's a powder and I do it over his food.

Hi Johnny and all - at the time of writing this, my original message (quoted here) has had advertising links added to some keywords. Pop up advertising boxes appear when the links are clilcked.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to be used by Freeforums to advertise products - so I'm going to edit my original post, and it may not make much sense to new readers I'm afraid.
